Jamie was inspired by “abandoning new technology to celebrate a brand that is 175 years old. The shapes I’ve used represent the negative space from the letters H and R. CLXXV is 175 in Roman Numerals. Everything is hand-rendered in ink, then scanned and cleaned up.”
Jamie Webster is a director and designer based in Toronto. Jamie recently launched a directing collective and design studio called Common Good with two long-time collaborators. His main focus is on developing unique visual narratives that integrate film, animation and design. His single largest artistic influence is the Bauhaus, which is where he received one of his two degrees. Jamie is also a founding member of the Toronto-based N/A collective, which is comprised of several members spanning a wide range of artistic disciplines.
