Smythe— Canada’s blazer experts—have lent their talents to a good cause with the creation of a Glee-inspired design that is one part schoolboy prep, one part feel good fashion. The trim schoolboy blazer called the Warbler Tribute, is inspired by the signature red-trim blazers worn by Glee’s all-boy a cappella singing group The Warblers. When asked about the jacket, Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe, co-founders of Smythe said, “We designed this special edition blazer as a tribute to all those who fight against ignorance and intolerance.” The initiative was inspired by Christie’s brother, Thomas Smythe (Interior Designer Sarah Richardson’s adorable sidekick) who produced the It Gets Better Campaign in 2011. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each preppy blazer will be donated to anti-bullying organizations across North America.
