Ever wonder what Holts staffers wear to work? We chronicled
what our senior menswear buyer Chris wore to the office for a week to give you a peek! <span>Photos By Adam Moco </span>

<b>MONDAY</b>
<br></br>
Camel paired with grey has always seemed like a timeless and elegant combination to me. It’s a very Milanese gentleman kind of look. The suit is one of my favourites—a pale grey Troffeo flannel from Ermenegildo Zegna that was ordered over 5 years ago from their made to measure program. The Canali camel hair coat I’ve also had for several years, the true beauty of investing in good quality pieces is that they are timeless and you can keep them forever.

The brown suede brogues are from Tod's. They make great shoes, particularly for someone like me who spends a lot of time on their feet. I walk to work most days so I need something that is comfortable but will also look office appropriate.

<b>TUESDAY</b>
<br></br>
Chilly winter weather often calls for layered dressing. The jacket is a wool and cashmere windowpane from Canali with suede elbow patches—I think it should really come with a pipe.
<br></br>
Layered underneath is a soft blue pinpoint oxford shirt from Armani Collezioni and a Ralph Lauren Blue Label cashmere v-neck. Since I opted to skip on the tie today, I thought a pocket square would add some professional polish to the look. The Tod's desert boots are unbelievably light weight and I love the reddish sole with the contrasting top stich

<b>WEDNESDAY</b>
<br></br>
Cardigans are a great alternative to a sports jacket. This one from Etro is made with a full paisley lining and gross grain trim, which gives the knit an almost tailored feel. The pant is a new model from Canali with side tabs rather than belt loops that give the pant cleaner lines. The made to measure shirt and wool tie are both Holt Renfrew private brand and the oxford lace-up boots are Tod’s.

<b>THURSDAY</b>
<br></br>
It was fairly grey and rainy when I woke up this morning so I grabbed my Burberry trench on my way out the door. It is made in their classic water resistant cotton twill fabric and keeps me dry on days like these.
<br></br>
The Ermenegildo Zegna cashmere and silk check sport coat and flannel pant are both made to measure. Zegna is famous for their amazing fabrics and this is by far the lightest and softest sports coat I’ve ever owned. The shoes are an old favourite, a pair of Ferragamos that I’ve worn for years and through countless rain storms. Just a light brushing seems to revive them no matter how soaked I’ve managed to get them.

<b>FRIDAY</b>

I’m supposed to be travelling to Milan this afternoon, and as luck would have it, there’s a blizzard. I needed to wear something that was comfortable enough to wear on the flight, warm enough to survive the walk to work and polished enough so I didn’t show up at the office looking like a complete slob.
<br></br>
The Ralph Lauren Blue Label jacket is one of my favourite pieces for travelling because it looks tailored but is completely unstructured so it feels more like a cardigan. The fabric has a bit a stretch to it so it doesn’t wrinkle – a real plus when you’re on a plane for nine hours. The prep school tie is by Brunello Cucinelli, (so it’s cashmere of course) and the chambray shirt is by a great line based in Vancouver called Wings and Horns. The boots are from Sperry and look like a Topsider but turned into a winter boot—the perfect Canadian deck shoe.
